Bio

Born in Pompei in 1982, from an early age he began his musical studies through the Yamaha method. At the age of 11 he began studying the clarinet, graduated in 2004 and graduated in 2008 with full marks and honors from the S. Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome under the guidance of maestro Gaetano Russo. In 2011 he won the exam competition for the Clarinet Chair of the pre-academic courses at the S. Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome, where, in the academic years 2011-2014, he was a teacher. Since 2012 he has been a member of the Orchestra Roma Sinfonietta, in which he holds the role of first clarinet and since 2003 he has been a stable member of the “Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti” of Naples. Since 2009 he has also been a stable member (as soprano clarinet, piccolo clarinet and bass clarinet) of the PMCE (Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensamble). He is also first clarinet of the “Franco Ferrara” Orchestra, a recently formed orchestra which debuted with this name at the Conciliazione Auditorium under the direction of Maestro Donato Renzetti. He has collaborated and collaborates in various orchestras such as the Rome Opera Theater Orchestra and the Petruzzelli Theater Orchestra in Bari, where, in September 2012, he was second eligible for the first clarinet competition.
