Bio
From Hong Kong, Tin-Wai now 21, currently studies viola at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with Jia-Yang Wang. She began playing violin at 5 switching to viola at 13. Awarded numerous scholarships she attended the Mozarteum University Summer Academy, New York Summer Music, Kent Blossom Music, and Heartland Chamber Music Festivals. She has played with chamber ensembles since 2010 and taken masterclasses with the Chilingirian, Penderecki, Szymanowski, Endellion, Miro, and Shanghai String Quartets. Recently she performed at the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival with Lorin Maazel.
