Bio

Miryam Veggi, born in 1992, began her violin studies when she was 5. She then switched to viola continuing her studies in Alessandria, her hometown, where she graduated in 2012. A passionate chamber musician, she took several master classes in Northern Europe as well as in Italy; in 2012 her duo “Viola(n)do” (with Claudia Pfnuer) celebrated its first concert and in 2013 they performed in Genova’s prestigious “Palazzo Ducale” presenting works of C.Stumpf, J.C.Bach and Bartok. In 2012/2013 she worked for the Conservatory of Alessandria and studied with M° Simone Gramaglia (“Quartetto di Cremona”). At present she is earning her master at the “International Conservatorium Maastricht” in the viola class of Marc Tooten.
