Alessandro Sacchetti

Bio

Alessandro Sacchetti, born in 2007 in Rome, began his studies at the age of 6. He currently studies at the Stauffer Center for Strings and is a student of Maestro Enrico Dindo at the Pavia Cello Academy. In Rome, he is attending to the Advanced course at the Avos school Project with Maestro Alessio Pianelli and to the Chamber music course with the Avos piano Quartet. From 2020 to 2024, he attended the High Specialization Course with Maestro Antonio Meneses at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona, at the Biel Academy (Switzerland) and at Chigiana in Siena.

He was selected by the Kronberg Academy for the Cello Masterclass as an effective student of Prof. Hecker and also by the Rutesheim Cello Akademie with Prof. Bohorquez, where he played in the final concert for young talents. He won several international and national awards, the latest of which was the first Prize e Final concert at the YOM international Cello Competition in Livorno, in December 2024.
