Bio

Alessandro Sacchetti, born in 2007 in Rome, began studying cello when he was six years old with Paolo Andriotti. In 2018 he studied with Stefan Heinemeyer at the Perosi Musical Academy in Biella and earned a scholarship for chamber music with the Trio di Parma. Since 2020 Sacchetti has been pursuing his professional studies with Antonio Meneses at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona, the Summer Academy in Biel (Switzerland), and the Chigiana Academy in Siena. He is also taking academic courses at the International Musical Academy Avos Project in Rome with Alessio Pianelli as well as the chamber music course with the Avos Piano Quartet. Sacchetti made his debut at the age of eleven after winning the international “Clara Wieck Schumann” Prize.

He has performed at the Internationale Sommerakademie in Biel and numerous other festivals such as Musica Frentana, Cittadella.
