Alessandro Sacchetti

Bio

Alessandro Sacchetti, born in Rome in 2007, is currently enrolled in the Performance Diploma program in cello at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona, where he studies with Prof. Frans Helmerson. He began his musical training with Prof. Antonio Meneses, attending courses at the Stauffer Academy, the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, and the Biel Academy in Switzerland.

In 2024, he was selected for distinguished programs including the Kronberg Academy masterclasses with Julian Steckel, the Cello Akademie Rutesheim with Gustavo Núñez—where he appeared in the Young Talents Final Concert—and the Pavia Cello Academy with Enrico Dindo.

He continues his studies at the G. Briccialdi Conservatory and the Avos Project in Rome.

He has also worked with David Geringas, Mischa Maisky, and Sol Gabetta.

In 2025, he was awarded the XIX National Prize of Arts and named a finalist at the Isang Yun Competition.
