Allysson Cohen

Bio
Allyson is a sophomore studying with Amy Moretti, David Kim and Robert McDuffie at the Center for Strings. From Philadelphia, she was recipient of the Settlement Advanced Study Scholarship and member of Braverman Quartet. She performed in the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, was soloist with the Philadelphia Sinfonia as winner of their concerto competition, and in 2017 joined NYO-USA’s tour of South America led by Marin Alsop. In 2019 she was part of the National Repertory Orchestra in Breckenridge, Colorado. She has attended the Curtis Summerfest, Castleman Quartet Program, Philadelphia International Music Festival and the Bowdoin Music Festival.
