Bio
Andrea Cellacchi, born 1997 in Rome, graduated with honors from the O. Respighi Music Conservatory in Latina in 2014. He currently studies at the Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia and also at the Hochschule der Künst in Zurich. He has won competitions in Chieri and Florence, and most recently first prize at the 6th International G. Rossini Bassoon Competition in Pesaro. In 2014 he was soloist with the O. Respighi Symphony Orchestra playing the Weber Bassoon Concerto. He has performed in many festivals, including Spoleto Festival of Two Worlds, Ravello, and Lago Maggiore Musica.
