Aurelio Scudetti

Bio

Aurelio Scudetti graduated at the “L.Refice” conservatory of Frosinone, where he obtained his masters in both music and teaching. Following master classes and sessions with renowned teachers, such as A. Dulbecco, A. Anders, and M. Kamiya, he began his career as a teacher himself. An expert in music pedagogy and psychology, he studies and follows Orff and Gordon theories. Scudetti collaborates with many orchestras, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Arena di Verona, Roma Sinfonietta, La Verdi di Milano, l’Orchestra Italiana del Cinema, la Sinfonica di Roma and Orchestra Città di Prato, among others. A chamber music lover, he works with many ensembles, both classical and contemporary, Nuova Consonanza, Fondazione Prometeo, Accademia Filarmonica Romana, PMCE, among others. A founding member of BLOW UP Roma Percussion, throughout his career he has worked with Steve Reich, Giorgio Battistelli, Michael Berkeley, Francesco Filidei, Paolo Marchettini, Elliot Cooper Cole, Laurent Durupt. He has taken part in many music events and festivals and has recorded for famed labels Stradivarius, Naxos, Ema Records, Sony, EMI,Warner Italia. Ha collaborato con compositori come Steve Reich, Giorgio Battistelli, Michael Berkeley, Francesco Filidei, Paolo Marchettini, Elliot Cooper Cole, Laurent Durupt.
