Chiara Burattini
Bio
A musician who stands out for her vivacious versatility combined with an elegant virtuosity, Chiara Burattini has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the most important Italian and international venues, including Kammermusiksaal Philarmonie and Konzerthaus (Berlin), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Palais Ehrbar (Vienna), Teatro alla Scala (Milan), and Auditorium Parco della Musica (Rome). She has also given concerts in France, Slovenia, Spain, Northern Ireland, and Palestine.
Former student of G. Gnocchi, G. Sollima, B. Canino, R. Filippini, M. Scano, E. Bronzi, and the Trio di Parma, Burattini teaches chamber music at the Vecchi- Tonelli Conservatory in Modena.
Burattini has been invited on radio and television programs, and she has recorded for labels such as Decca, Warner Music, Stradivarius, and Brilliant Classics.
She plays on a wonderful London-school cello from 1710.
