Bio

Born in 1986, Daniel Palmizio began his studies at the S. Cecilia Conservatory in Rome where he has been a professor of viola since 2012. In 2000 he won a scholarship to study at the Purcell School of Music in London. He has performed in chamber groups in Italy and South America and as a soloist in Great Britain, the U. S. and Italy. He has won many prizes and in 2008 was the youngest winner of the viola post at the San Carlo Theater in Naples. Next season he performs in Scotland and will give a recital in London. He plays an 1800 viola loaned by Accademia Chigiana.
