Bio

Elizabeth Aoki made her debut with orchestra at age eight after winning the Juilliard Pre-College concerto competition and has continued to perform solo around the world ever since. She now studies at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings with Robert McDuffie, Amy Schwartz Moretti, and David Kim to perfect her musicianship after ten years under the tutelage of Masao Kawasaki. In her spare time, Aoki is growing in fame as a composer and was recently commissioned to write a piece inspired by Haydn’s Sunrise Quartet which was premiered alongside the original work in January.
