Bio

Violinist and violist Emily Brandenburg is a recent graduate of the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings. She has studied with Lawrence Dutton of the Emerson String Quartet and Rebecca Albers, assistant principal of the Minnesota Orchestra. Emily began her violin studies at age of five at the Rhode Island Philharmonic Music School. She is an avid orchestral and chamber musician, premiering new works by composer Nathan Prillaman. and has performed with prominent musicians such as Amy Schwartz Moretti, David Halen, Robert McDuffie, Julie Albers, Christopher Rex, Elizabeth Pridgen and Adam Neiman. This is her second season at the RCMF.
