Bio

First trombone at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Orchestra, Enzo began studying music with his grandfather, Giacomo Di Mario, director and “maestro della banda” in his hometown, and with his father Maurizio, an amateur trombonist. Enzo graduated from the musical institute G. Briccialdi of Terni in Umbria, Italy, with high marks and honors under the guidance of Andrea Di Mario and Massimiliano Costanzi. He obtained his Masters degree studying with A. Mazzucco (Orchestra della Rai), A. Conti (Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia), C. Vernon (Chicago Symphony Orchestra), J.Alessi (New York Philharmonic) Andrea Bandini (Orchestre Suisse Romande) and Ian Bousfield (Wiener Staatsoper -Philharmoniker). At the very young age of fifteen he began working with professional orchestras. A winner of many international competitions, he was first trombone with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma in 2009 and with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI in 2011 prior to becoming first trombone at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia. A very versatile and dynamic player, he also performs with the “Human Rights Orchestra”
