Hadar Zaidel
Bio
Israeli violinist Hadar Zaidel will pursue a Doctor of Musical Arts degree starting in the Fall of 2024 at the Cleveland Institute of
Music under Ilya Kaler, where she has also recently earned her master’s degree, made possible by the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Irad Carmi. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University,
under Hagai Shaham, having graduated from the Israel Conservatory of Music, Tel Aviv, as a student of Nava Milo and Nitai Zori.
A member of the violin sections of the Canton and Akron Symphony Orchestras, Zaidel has performed as a soloist with the Tel Aviv Soloist Ensemble, the Thelma Yellin Symphony Orchestra, and the Goppisberger Musikfestival Orchester.
She has participated in the Perlman Music Program since 2016 and the Musethica Israel outreach program since 2021. Zaidel is a recipient of America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF)
scholarships since 2013 and plays on a violin loaned by the AICF and William A. Schwarz (Z”L).
