Ho Yan Grace Chan

Bio

Ho Yan Grace Chan is a double bass player from Hong Kong currently living in the Netherlands. Grace now studies at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague with Léo Genet and Jean Paul Everts. Grace loves playing in orchestras and ensembles where she is able to communicate with other musicians through music.

She had experience performing with the New European Ensemble and the Amsterdam Chamber Orchestra. She was also selected to participate in the Asian Youth Orchestra 2022, and the Nationaal Jeudgorkest Winter Tour 2023 and 2024. Grace has attended several masterclasses and learned from Théotime Voisin, Nicholas Schwartz, Luis Cabrera and Emery Caroline, etc.

Grace likes travelling around to explore the world and connecting with people.

She loves challenges giving herself chances to grow and experience breakthroughs in her music.
