Hoei Lien The received her Bachelor of Music degree cum laude in 2012 from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and her master’s degree in performance in 2014 from London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where in 2014–15 she held the prestigious Guildhall Artists Fellowship. She performs regularly in the Netherlands, Great Britain, and Switzerland. She is principal of the second violins and managing director of the Silk Street Sinfonia, a conductorless chamber orchestra of twelve strings. She produced and performed in Stravinsky’s Histoire du soldat with full cast, receiving a Guildhall School of Music and Drama award in 2015.
