Bio

Isaac Lopez is a violist from Jacksonville, Florida, who now studies at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings with Victoria Chiang and Rebecca Albers. A recipient of the National Symphony Orchestra awards, Lopez has participated in the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra and the FMEA All State Orchestra.

He has studied at the Aspen Music Festival and School, Meadowmount School of Music, and the Sphinx Performance Academy and has worked with the finest classical musicians, including Robert McDuffie, Patricia McCarty, Hsin-Yun Huang, Ettore Causa, Paul Laria, Milan Milisavljević, and Born Lau, as well as with members of the Cavani and Emerson quartets.

Lopez has also been able to share his passion for music by mentoring aspiring yung classical musicians through the String Pedagogy class and the Cathedral Arts Project.
