Lara Biancalana

Bio

Young cellist from Rome, ex-scholarship holder of the Menuhin School, is currently studying in Meneses class at the Stauffer Center and at Avos Project.
Her debut takes place in 2016 at the Ravenna Festival, where she performed as promising talent, invited by Sollima.
She has performed in seasons such as Trame Sonore, La Fenice Theater, IUC, Merano Festival, Gstaad Menuhin Festival.
In 2021 she is a scholarship holder of the Roscini-Padalino-Cucinelli Prize and since the same year she is part of the LGT Young Soloists, an international ensemble of young virtuosos performing in the most prestigious concert venues and seasons.
The Milan Concert Society selected her as an Artist in Residence for the next season 2022/2023.
