Bio
Violinist Levi Mitze studies with David Halen and Amy Schwartz-Moretti at the McDuffie Center. Earlier he won both the junior and senior strings grand prizes of the Florida Orchestra’s Young Artists Concerto Competition and served as student concertmaster at Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, North Carolina, winning the Conductor’s Award in 2006 and 2007. He performs with his teachers, other students, and visiting artists at the McDuffie Center. During summers, through master classes, coaching, and private lessons, he has had the opportunity of studying and performing with leading musicians and conductors.
