Logan Purser

Bio

A native of Salt Lake City, violist Logan Purser is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at the McDuffie Center for Strings, studying with Victoria Chiang and Rebecca Albers. An avid chamber musician, he has collaborated with members of the Emerson, Ehnes, Cavani, and Fry Street Quartets and was named a semifinalist at the 2024 Fischoff Competition. In 2023, Logan made his Utah Symphony debut, performing Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante with violinist Nesya Fertel. Prior to university, he studied in the Gifted Music School’s Conservatory Program with John T. Posadas and Emily Barrett Brown.
