Bio

Born in Rieti in 2000, Marco Palocci began studying the clarinet at the age of 8 at the Scandriglia band under the guidance of M° Claudio Gamberoni. He graduated in 2019 from the “Elena Principessa di Napoli” Music High School and continued his studies at the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory in Rome, where he studied with M° Ugo Gennarini and M° Laura Coco. Over the years, he has attended masterclasses with renowned clarinetists such as Calogero Palermo, Stefano Novelli, and Fabrizio Meloni. He collaborates with various orchestras in central Italy, including the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory Orchestra in Rome, the EtruriÆnsemble Orchestra, the Roma Tre Orchestra, the Europa InCanto Orchestra, the Orchestra giovanile Fontane di Roma, and the Latina Symphony Orchestra. He has participated in several competitions, including the 12th International Music Competition “Città di Tarquinia” and the 1st Music Competition for Young Performers “Città di Rieti,” winning first place in both.
