Bio
Born in Rome, Maria Elena began performing at a very early age with the Accademia of Santa Cecilia and the Opera Theatre, both as a member of the choir and as a solo artist. She has taken part in numerous concerts and theatrical productions, has studied with the soprano Silvana Ferraro and is at the moment furthering her studies as a contralto with Sara Mingardo at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory. In May 2017 she performed La Petite Messe Solennelle in collaboration with the Rossini Festival of Pesaro for the organ festival “Un Organo Per Roma”. Recently she also performed compositions by Weber and Ofir Ben Shitrt at the Campidoglio (Italian Capitol Hill) during the “Days of Remembrance”.
