Bio
Matteo Lelii was born in Rome in 2004 and developed a passion for percussion from a very young age, beginning his studies at the age of 5. He has performed in prestigious music venues in Rome such as the Auditorium Parco della Musica (with the PMCE and the Santa Cecilia Conservatory) and the MAXXI Museum (as a member of the Chigiana Percussion Ensemble). While studying and performing at the Chigiana Academy in Siena, he had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned composers such as L. Ligeti and B. Letort. He is currently studying at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome with Maestro A. Caggiano. Additionally, he studies timpani with Maestro I. Ceballos Martin.
