Peyton Hall Magalhaes
Bio
Peyton, born 1998 in Lithuania to missionary parents started piano at 5 and cello at 6. From 2006-2017 studied at M.K. Ciurlionis School of Performing Arts in Vilnius and is currently on full scholarship at the McDuffie Center studying with Hans Jensen, Richard Aaron, Julie Albers and Leo Singer.
He has played in competitions in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, France and the United States and performed solo works with the National Philharmonic in Lithuania as well as the Edouard Lalo cello concerto with the McDuffie Center and Townsend School orchestra. He has played with fellow musicians at the Hermitage museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia and has appeared on television in the United States, Russia, and Lithuania.
