Philip Hall
Bio
Philip Hall made his professional debut at age eighteen performing Walton’s Viola Concerto with the Sarasota Orchestra. He has performed numerous times on National Public Radio throughout the United States and Canada. He was a prizewinner in the Edward and Ida Wilkof Young Artists Concerto Competition, the Sarasota Music Club Scholarship Competition, the ASTA-AZ Solo Competition, the MTNA-AZ Solo Competition, and the Arizona Virtuoso Viola Competition.
Currently he is a Presidential Scholar at the McDuffie Center, working under the mentorship of Robert McDuffie and studying with Rebecca Albers and Lawrence Dutton.
