Rochelle Sumampong is a freshman at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings, pursuing a Bachelor of Music in violin performance. She studies with Amy Schwartz Moretti, David Halen and Robert McDuffie. Rochelle began studying violin at age seven in Victoria, BC, Canada and continued through high school. During these years, Rochelle has won numerous provincial and national music festivals awards, both as a solo violinist and as a chamber musician. She has attended several music festivals including the National Arts Center of Canada, Interlochen, and the Aspen Music Festival.
