Silvia Porcellini
Bio
Silvia Porcellini earned an Artist Diploma in Opera from the B. Marcello Conservatory in Venice. She is currently pursuing the Advanced Course in Singing at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia with Sara Mingardo, as well as the Advanced Course at the Scuola dell’Opera of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
She made her solo debut at Teatro Malibran (Venice) in Albinoni’s Engelberta (2021) and has since performed as soprano soloist at the Festival Galuppi in Venice (2022), at the Händelfestspiele in Halle in Händel’s Il convito d’Alessandro, and with Solisti Veneti in intermezzos by A. Scarlatti.
Porcellini’s operatic roles include Clorinda in Rossini’s La Cenerentola (Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza, Bucharest National Opera, Sabbioneta Chamber Opera Festival, Ankara, 2024–25)
and Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte with the Scuola dell’Opera of Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
She is also active in contemporary repertoire, performing with La Biennale di Venezia in Marta Gentilucci’s Moving Still – Processional Crossing (2021) and Annelies Van Parys’ Notwehr (2022), as well as Thimiau in Miani’s La notte di San Silvestro (Pordenone, 2024) and Agostino in Bargagna’s La Torre (Teatro Verdi di Pisa, 2025).
