Bio

Creative artist and entrepreneur, Thomas makes waves as a renowned operatic baritone and founding executive director of The Peace Studio—a nonprofit that equips artists and journalists with opportunities and strengths-based tools. He recently performed at Tanglewood and in Carmen with the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera and covered in Pagliacci for Opera San Jose. He was a soloist in Brahms’s Requiem with the Mississippi Symphony and in Fauré’s Requiem in Hancock, New Hampshire. He has also appeared in an evening of Bach cantatas with the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra (Winnipeg, Canada) and the world premiere of Wayne Oquin’s Meditation in Alice Tully Hall.

A curator and producer, he has led tours throughout across the U.S. and most recently to Kigali, Rwanda. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Juilliard School where he studied with Marlena Malas and the late Sanford Sylvan.
