Zaruhi Amiraghyan

Bio

Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Zaruhi Amiraghyan started taking violin lessons at the age of five at the Tchaikovsky Specialized Music School. She continued her studies at the Nuremberg University of Music in Germany. She is a prizewinner of international competitions and has attended master classes with renowned artists. Ms. Amiraghyan has toured extensively throughout the world and has performed as a soloist as well as a member of many chamber orchestras at such renowned concert halls as the Philharmonie de Paris, the Gasteig and the Herkulessaal Munich, Meistersingerhalle, and the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest. She has also participated in many festivals, most recently the George Enescu Festival and the Colmar International Festival. Ms. Amiraghyan is currently a Konzertexamen postgraduate student of David Grimal at the University of Music Saar.
