Zhihao Wu
Bio
Zhihao Wu began cello at age four and made his concerto debut at nine. His music school was affiliated with Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He has won top prizes in cello competitions such as the Antonio Janigro in Croatia, Shanghai’s VC National Professional Cello Competition and Chamber Music Competition for String Quartets, and competitions at Canada’s Morningside Music Bridge program. His many scholarships include that from Meadowmount, where in 2015 he was teaching assistant to Hans Jørgen Jensen. He studies with Julie Albers and Prof. Jensen at the McDuffie Center for Strings.
