Rome Chamber Music Festival’s Great Beauty

When Robert McDuffie saw the Italian film “The Great Beauty,” he was mesmerized by the gorgeous string quartet that was featured on the soundtrack. The piece, “The Beatitudes” by composer Vladimir Martynov, will be presented as part of the program during the final evening of The Rome Chamber Music Festival 2014. “From the very first moment I heard it, I knew there was something special going on. It is music that seduces and I could not wait to listen to it again. I’m excited that we will be performing it on June 12 – it is the perfect farewell to Rome on our final evening.”
