What a Night! RCMF’s benefit concert in NYC has been a great success
The New York studio of famous contemporary artist Caio Fonseca, was the location for the 2017 Rome Chamber Music Festival’s benefit concert, in support of the De Simone Young Artist Program which provides emerging musicians with a unique study and performance curriculum. Thanks to the generosity and support of guests from all over the United States over $90.000.00 was raised for this educational initiative and more young artists from across the globe will have the chance to learn from and perform alongside the festival’s renowned artists, providing them with invaluable experience for their personal and professional aspirations. World renowned violinist Mr. Robert McDuffie was accompanied by young artists from the orchestra of the Center for Strings of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia of which Mr. McDuffie is the founder. The funds will be invested in the De Simone Young Artist Program and the fourteenth edition of the Rome Chamber Music Festival to be held from June 2nd to June 8th 2017 at the Palazzo Barberini in Rome, Italy.
