De Simone Young Artist Program<\/h2>\n

Dedicated to nurturing new talent, the Rome Chamber Music Festival annually invites a select group of promising young artists, ages eighteen to twenty-four, from the United States, Europe, and Asia to participate in its De Simone Young Artist Program. American participants are chosen through live auditions held at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University, while European and Asian participants are selected through video auditions and evaluation. Together, these young musicians form an international cohort that brings fresh artistry and energy to the Festival. Through intensive coaching, rehearsal, and performance alongside renowned guest artists and faculty, participants gain invaluable experience in chamber music collaboration and artistic growth.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n

Steven Della Rocca Young Professional Program<\/h2>\n

In 2022, the Rome Chamber Music Festival introduced the Steven Della Rocca Professional Program for artists ages twenty-five to twenty-nine, created to support exceptional musicians as they transition into full professional careers. The program was established by longtime friend and board member Courtenay Hardy in loving memory of her husband, Steven Della Rocca, who was an ardent champion of education, the arts, and the Festival.
Designed as an immersive, career-building experience, the program offers mentoring with distinguished artists, performance opportunities, masterclasses, and meaningful exposure to audiences and industry professionals.
