Violinist Benjamin Linton studies at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings and has performed across North America. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, he began studying violin at age four, training for over a decade with the Amici String Program and the Mount Royal University Conservatory. <\/p>\n\n
He has spent summers at programs including Stringfest, Quartet Fest West, Le Domaine Forget, and the Bowdoin International Music Festival, and will attend the Colorado Music Festival with the Amara Quartet. At the McDuffie Center, Benjamin has served as concertmaster of the Macon-Mercer Symphony Orchestra under Peter Oundjian and was principal second violin for its Carnegie Hall performance under Paul Watkins. <\/p>\n\n
