Originally from Calgary, Alberta, he began studying violin at age four, training for over a decade with the Amici String Program and the Mount Royal University Conservatory. <\/p>\n\n<p>He has spent summers at programs including Stringfest, Quartet Fest West, Le Domaine Forget, and the Bowdoin International Music Festival, and will attend the Colorado Music Festival with the Amara Quartet.
