Hailing from Lacombe, Alberta, 20-year-old violinist Holly Parker studies at the McDuffie Center for Strings with Amy Schwartz Moretti, David Kim, and Robert McDuffie. She has worked closely with artists including Lawrence Dutton, Annie Fullard, Stella Chen, and Jaime Laredo, building on formative training in Calgary and summer studies across Canada. <\/p>\n\n
A dedicated collaborator, Parker has served as concertmaster of the Calgary Youth Orchestra and the Rosedale Valley String Orchestra, and has performed with the Calgary Philharmonic, Atlanta Symphony, and Red Deer Symphony. A three-time gold medalist at the Alberta Provincial Music Festival, she has appeared as a soloist with the Calgary Philharmonic and Red Deer Symphony Orchestra. <\/p>\n\n
