Yekajielinna Lian is a 20-year-old cellist from Vancouver, Canada, and a junior at the McDuffie Center for Strings. She was recently a winner of the Talent Summer International Competition in Brescia, Italy. <\/p>\n\n
Lian has appeared as a soloist with ensembles including the Vancouver Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, the Aldo Parisot Cello Ensemble, the Youth Musician Artist Association, and the Lord Byng Symphony Orchestra, frequently as a competition prizewinner. In addition to her performing career, she has organized numerous charity events, using music to support her community. <\/p>\n\n
An engaged and collaborative musician, Lian enjoys working with fellow artists and exploring a wide range of musical styles.
