Laura Liu, a native of Miami, Florida, is a violist based in New York City, where she studies with Cynthia Phelps and Misha Amory. Praised by Classical Voice America as a \u201cstandout\u201d with a \u201csound deep, warm, and consistently musical,\u201d she is currently an Artist Diploma candidate at The Juilliard School, where she earned her Bachelor and Master of Music as a Kovner Fellow. <\/p>\n\n
An ardent chamber musician, Liu has performed at leading festivals including Kronberg Academy\u2019s Chamber Music Connects the World, Music@Menlo\u2019s International Program, Olympic Music Festival, Perlman Music Program\u2019s Chamber Music Workshop, Taos School of Music, Kneisel Hall, Music Academy of the West, and Heifetz International Music Institute.<\/p>\n\n
