Power of Classical Music: Robert McDuffie meets Roman teenagers in the auditorium of the historical Liceo Visconti

Rome, March 29 2017 – Robert McDuffie grammy nominated violinist , founder and artistic director of the Rome Chamber Music Festival, will perform in the “Aula Magna” of the LIceo Classico Ennio Quirino Visconti as part of the Classico… Visconti series dedicated to supporting the development of classical music in the Roman school system.. Mr. McDuffie himself the founder of the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer University in his native city of Macon, Georgia is delighted to launch the Rome Chamber Music Festival’s fourteenth season at this event . A perfect location to highlight the Festival 2017 to take place at Palazzo Barberini from June 2nd to June 8th and promote the Festival’s De Simone & Partners Young Artist Program dedicated to providing young talent with the opportunity to perform alongside famous artists and attend Master Classes.

The event has been organized in collaboration with Arte2.O an association active for many years in the promotion of concerts in unique locations aimed at attracting youngsters to the world of classical music.

Mr. McDuffie plays a 1735 Guarneri del Gesù violin, known as the “Ladenburg” and he will be accompanied by pianist Diego Procoli and two young artists, violin Gaia Trionfera and piano Asia Gigl.
