Emerging Artists Programs
Since 2007, the Rome Chamber Music Festival has offered a unique experience for aspiring artists that not only highlights their talent, but also inspires excellence, encourages collaboration, and fosters a deeper connection with music and with each other.
Please join us in ensuring the future of chamber music through the young artists who share a passion for it.
De Simone Young Artist Program
Founded in 2007, the De Simone Young Artist Program provides a select number of promising musicians, ages 17 to 25 years old, the unique opportunity to rehearse, play, and take masterclasses with the Festival’s world-renown artists. Candidates are chosen through audition and receive a travel stipend and accomodations throughout the Festival’s weeklong rehearsal and performance schedule.
Steven Della Rocca Young Professional Program
In 2022, the RCMF introduced the Steven Della Rocca Young Professional Program for artists under the age of 30 who are just launching their careers. The program provides performance opportunities, mentoring, masterclasses, and media exposure to assist with professional development.
Prospective participants are chosen by audition and provided with roundtrip transportation to Rome, accomodations, and an honorarium.
