Bio

Isaac King’s goal as a performer and educator is to bring to life the music of the past and the present and build up the future generations of music makers.

Isaac King started his time as a performer at the age of six when his family started a band of stringed instruments playing classical, oldies, folk, musical, and fiddle music.

This then flourished into a love of playing which he pursued further at Cairn University under the study of Rachel Ku. During this time Isaac taught private lessons to several students from the beginner to intermediate level.

In 2021 Isaac attended the National Orchestral Institute+Festival which cemented his love for the orchestral repertoire.

In 2022 and 2023 Isaac King attended the National Repertory Orchestra in Breckenridge Colorado, where in 2023 he served as the co-principal and performed Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante on the final concert of the summer season.

He has performed in many masterclasses with Midori, CJ Chiang, and Katherine Murdock.

Isaac Currently studies under Victoria Chiang and Becca Albers at the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings where he is completing his Artist Diploma.
