Livia Stefani
Bio
Born in Perugia in 2001, Livia Stefani studies with Ilya Grubert in Conservatorium van Amsterdam. She previously graduated with honor and special mention from the Conservatorio Francesco Morlacchi in Perugia and also studied with Zakhar Bron and Maurizio Sciarretta at the Zakhar Bron Akademie in Interlaken, Switzerland. She performs often as a chamber musician, playing regularly in the Netherlands in duo with Radu Ratering and as first violin and founder of Hera Quartet.
They were accepted in 2023 into the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Italy. Stefani made her solo debut in the Czech Republic with the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra and in 2020 appeared with the Orchestra Italiana d’Archi conducted by Stefano Pagliani.
A frequent prizewinner, she played at the age of seventeen in New York’s Carnegie Hall after winning first prize in the American Protégé Competition.
