Violinist Rachell Ellen Wong is one of the most dynamic performers of her generation, celebrated for her commanding artistry across Baroque and modern repertoire. Named “most approachable virtuoso” by New York Classical Review, she has performed as soloist with top ensembles including the Seattle Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Academy of Ancient Music, Venice Baroque Orchestra, and The English Concert.

Recent highlights include debuts at Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as an upcoming recording of a new concerto written for her by the Brothers Balliett. This is her second appearance at the Rome Chamber Music Festival.

Rachell is co-founder of Twelfth Night, Grand Prize winner of the Barbash J.S. Bach Competition, and a graduate of The Juilliard School. She performs on a Baroque violin from the school of Joachim Tielke (ca. 1700) and a 1953 Carlo de March violin.
