Saeed Diab
Bio
Pianist Saeed Diab, born to a Palestinian family in Israel in 1999, began his studies under the guidance of Mrs. Svetlana Smirnova at Shefa-‘Amr and Karmiel conservatories. He then pursued his bachelor’s studies with Prof. Asaf Zohar at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University. Further refining his craft under the tutelage of Sir Andras Schiff, he earned an Artist Diploma from the esteemed Barenboim-Said Akademie, Berlin. Saeed is a recipient of numerous prizes in various national competitions in Israel, including first prizes in the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music piano and concerto competitions, and has been a consistent awardee of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship for excellence since 2018.
Beyond national borders, Saeed has enriched his artistry through masterclasses with world-renowned artists like Daniel Barenboim, Victor Rosenbaum, Norma Fisher, Oxana Yablonskaya, Gilbert Kalish, and Claudio Martinez Mehner.
Saeed has performed with orchestras and played solo and chamber concerts from a young age in several countries, with performances at the prestigious Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin.
